The following Visual Identity specifically focuses on the correct printing processes and technologies for each element of the whole. Indeed, each single artifact requires specific techniques in order to design a successful product that can withstand wear and tear, and unceasingly deliver a worthy outcome. Without the necessary considerations products can still be delivered, but their value, and especially durability, are undermined.
This Visual Identity proposes a restyling of Demi Lovato’s “Tell Me You Love Me” album. It is based on the importance of highlighting the woman’s powerful figure in society. The concept was decomposed and recomposed in a unique manner in order to design the various elements that create the overall identity.
The design comprises seven checkpoints that enabled the strategic placement of each element within the overall Visual Identity: the hymn to singles gives rise to the raised fist, introspection eliminates the eyes, hushed belting positions an X on the side of the mouth, the reality and honesty regarding the fact that love hurts distorts the face, the burning desire to fight against her exes leads to the incorporation of the fire element within the overall design (given that the first layer of printed ink on the covers is temperature-reacting), revenge paints the artist's lips with a bright red hue, and the need to make a statement unites the overall design by promoting a shocking design that provokes the listeners to act.
The Visual Identity was then transported to a t-shirt and poster in order to complete the design.
